2 NIGHTS ON CAMEL IN THE DESERT OF MERZOUGA
Description:
One of the predominant activities in Morocco is embarking on 2 NIGHTS ON CAMEL IN THE DESERT OF MERZOUGA, which gives visitors the opportunity to contemplate the vast expanse of the Sahara desert sands. In addition, it is possible to stay one or two nights in a Berber tent, which gives the opportunity to contemplate the celestial bodies while listening to traditional Berber drum music played by the local population. A highly recommended activity when visiting the Merzouga desert is to embark on a two-night camel trek.
The 2-night camel trek in Merzouga offers participants the opportunity to stay in a desert camp for two nights. Before arriving at the camp, there is the opportunity to take a camel ride across the glittering sand dunes, accompanied by the spectacle of a sunset, and the option to participate in sandboarding activities. After the delicious dinner on the first night, you will have the opportunity to enjoy Berber music performed by indigenous nomads, while basking in the sun under the celestial canopy. If you like to dance, you can do so accompanied by intense and energetic music.
The next morning, you will wake up early to contemplate the aesthetic phenomenon of the sunrise, which illuminates the extraordinary sand dunes located in Erg Chebbi. The light will produce various geometric patterns and tonalities over the expanse of the sandy desert. Afterwards, at the exit of the dunes you will embark on a 4×4 vehicle to start the day excursion in the desert, with the main objective of visiting the Gnaoua people, a community characterized by its nomadic lifestyle.
